Complaints Policy

The editorial team of Democratic Governance makes every effort to respond to complaints efficiently and transparently. Each case is reviewed in accordance with its character and complexity, and all decisions are taken with reference to the standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Complaints and suggestions should be sent by e-mail to info@d-governance.com.ua. Normally, a reply is provided within 30 working days. If more time is required, the complainant will be notified about the reasons for the delay and the expected timeframe for resolution.

To be valid, a complaint must be formulated clearly and specifically, providing enough detail to indicate a possible violation of publication ethics. Whenever possible, supporting evidence or documents should be attached.

The journal does not consider personal grievances against authors, editors, reviewers, or staff that fall outside its remit. Messages written in an offensive, threatening, or defamatory manner will not be investigated.
