Розглянуто підходи до формування міжкультурної компетентності фахівців публічного управління. Визначено сутність та особливості міжкультурної компетентності фахівців публічного управління. Проаналізовано низку нормативно-правових актів, на базі яких здійснюється міжкультурна комунікація та забезпечується формування належної міжкультурної компетентності фахівців публічного управління. Обґрунтовано структурні складові міжкультурної компетентності, якими повинні володіти майбутні фахівці публічного управління у сучасному глобалізованому суспільстві
