Approaches to the formation of intercultural competence of public administration specialists are considered. The essence and peculiarities of intercultural competence of public administration specialists are determined. A number of normative legal acts on the basis of which intercultural communication is carried out and the formation of proper intercultural competence of public administration specialists is ensured are analysed. The structural components of intercultural competence that future public administration professionals should possess in a modern globalised society are substantiated.
