Розглянуто застосування методики бенчмаркінгу для оцінювання результативності управління розвитком територіальних громад. На цій основі зроблено порівняння результативності управління розвитком міських територіальних громад, які належать до основних промислових центрів Львівської області. У дослідженні взято до уваги три групи показників, які характеризують економічні, екологічні і соціальні сфери міських територіальних громад. Зауважено, що результати такого оцінювання дають змогу виявити недоліки в управлінні розвитком територіальних громад і можуть бути використані для майбутнього моніторингу змін управлінських компетентностей їхнього керівництва
