The features of public relations in the system of strategic communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are considered, their role and place from the point of view of public administration are determined. The main components of the strategic communications system in NATO member states are analyzed. Attention is focused on NATO strategic communications standards and policy. The main tasks and directions of strategic communications in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the context of reforming the military sphere and ensuring the effectiveness of Ukraine's course towards NATO membership are substantiated, in particular, in terms of optimizing coordination between strategic communications actors at all levels of government and interaction, synchronizing joint efforts in the interests of the goals and objectives of the Armed Forces, improving the legal framework for the implementation of NATO standards in the functioning of the Armed Forces
